Updating one of Townsville's most loved dining spots, Shorehouse Restaurant, was a labor of love for the team. Shorehouse emerges as a blend of contemporary comfort and natural elegance, revitalizing the local dining scene.
Tasked with transforming Shorehouse into a space that transitions effortlessly from a relaxed daytime retreat to an intimate evening setting, the design vision focused on a fusion of classic elegance and modern refinement. The goal? To evoke a sense of modernity intertwined with the familiarity of a beloved coastal landmark.
Inspired by the tropical elegance of Raffles Hotel, the design team utilized muted greens, rich dark wood, and cane accents to create an effortlessly sophisticated space. The green-patterned steps leading into the restaurant and sculptural lighting enhance this crafted charm, providing a memorable entryway that sets the tone for the Shorehouse experience.
